If you don't have much DIY experience when it comes to hanging artwork, or are unsure of your wall type and it's requirements, we strongly recommend that all products be expertly hung and secured by a professional.

We take the safety of you and your family seriously and recommend that no products should ever be hung above your child's cot or bed. Ink & Elk cannot take any responsibility for incorrectly hung and secured products.

      What You'll Need

The back of our frame has a 20 mm frame inset. We recommend using an 8 gauge 50 mm wall screw, and ensuring that your screw protrudes from the wall by at least 15 mm when hanging your artwork.

You should always use a hollow wall anchor when hanging artwork on a gyprock wall.

      Hanging Multiple Frames

Looking to create a feature wall in your child's nursery or bedroom? When hanging multiple frames together, we recommend that you hang the central frame or frames first, and align all remaining frames to the central frames. We also recommend that you measure each frame individually prior to hanging, rather than relying on the measurement of a single frame. This is because during the manufacturing process, slight variants do occur in the placement of the sawtooth hinged hangers.

      Free Standing Display

Our frames can also stand up on their own! This makes them handy for shelf or table display with endless styling possibilities, but make sure you place them out of reach of cheeky little monkeys.
