Shipping Policy

Order Shipment

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. On average, it takes us 2–7 business days to create your products and despatch them. If you have not received a shipping confirmation email in a reasonable time frame, please contact us.

Depending on the items in your order, your order may despatch in more than one package to keep it safe from transit damage. This, combined with different product production times, can result in different delivery time frames for each item. The total shipping cost is always displayed at checkout.


Delivery Times

A delivery estimate, including the time it takes to create a product, is displayed on each individual product page. 

Our average shipping time is 4 business days depending on the order's destination. This is in addition to the 2-7 business days it takes to make the items in your order.

Please note that during peak periods, such as Christmas, this time may be longer. 


Order Packaging

Print only orders are packaged in triangular cardboard boxes, replacing tubes with plastic end caps, reducing packaging and plastic waste.

Framed prints and canvas prints are packaged in thick kraft picture boxes with bubble wrap to keep the artwork safe.


Shipping within Australia

Australian orders despatch from our fulfilment partners in Brisbane and Melbourne. We calculate our postage for orders using flat rates based on total order weight. The total shipping cost will be shown during checkout.

Print only orders (orders excluding framed or canvas wall art) ship free, Australia wide.

Standard Shipping starts at $10.00 for a single small to medium sized framed print. Your parcel will be delivered to your nominated shipping address without requiring you to sign for delivery. A tracking number will be issued via email.

If you are not available to receive your delivery, your package will be left in a safe place at your nominated address.

The package will be deemed to have been delivered at the time the package is scanned as delivered and left at the nominated shipping address. Ink & Elk shall not be liable to you or any other person for any loss or damage once your package is delivered.


International Shipping

All wall art ships internationally, with the exclusion of Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Russia, Belarus, Indonesia and North Korea due to legal restrictions or shipping carrier limitations.

We partner with fulfilment centres around the globe to allow for faster international shipping times and lower international shipping costs. It also helps to reduce greenhouse emissions created by transporting products across the world.

Incorrect Address

If there is an error with your address, please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to amend it, however this is not always possible due to processing times.

Ink & Elk does not accept any liability for incorrect addresses, however will always try to accomodate amends where we can. To avoid disappointment, please make sure all your delivery details are correct when placing your order.


Missing or Damaged Order

If you have not received your order in a reasonable time frame and believe it might be missing, please contact us with your order details and we will immediately look into it for you.
